Perhaps the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten, including via the microwave. Chicken was dry from being frozen too long perhaps. Threw out our meals and the crab rangoon was nauseous. Soup was okay.

This is a serviceable local Chinese takeout, no better and no worse than the standard. Everything is edible but nothing spectacular. Service is prompt. Hot and sour soup a nice comfort food in the winter. The steamed diet dishes are the most "healthy," and are tolerable. The home style tofu and Singapore fried rice noodles are at least tasty.

Pretty good Lo Mien, on the salty side but good size portions. Ordered the fried wontons and didn't get what we had expected at all. Didn't like them and ended up just tossing them. Had the egg flower soup and didn't like it at all either, also threw it away. When we return we plan to stick to the main entrées.

0/5 not 1/5, yelp makes you give at least 1 star. I take no pleasure in writing bad reviews but here I go again. I ordered two different kinds of chicken dishes one from the regular Chinese menu and one from the Szechuan menu. I'll be damned if there was a single difference between either one of these bland flavourless and quite disgusting meals. Both dishes were coated in a salty syrupy brown slop. Half way through my egg roll I noticed both my hand and my plate were swimming in grease. I normally don't eat Americanized ethnic food. But this has to be the worst I have ever ate. Gave the left overs to some Burmese friends as practical joke. Will most defiantly not return.

I wish near my home there would be better restaurants. Everything is pretty floating in sauces here and go only if desperate really...

Looked good from the outside so walked in and the first thing I was worried about was cleanliness... One of those feelings... Just hoping all is kosher. Food was below average.

It's what you expect - quick, Americanized Chinese takeout. But who said that's a bad thing? Yes, it's hard to understand the staff when you call in to place an order. Yes, sometimes they're a little later with your food than they said. And yes, it may not be the best plate of sesame chicken you've ever had. But they've never messed one of my orders up, they're usually pretty busy so I'm not surprised when they're late, and it's still some tasty chicken so shut up. If you're looking for some good takeout than go no further. If you're looking for fancy schmancy Chinese food (or even a place with an actual dining room) than keep moving. But for my money, Hong Kong is where it's at.

Food is pretty decent but I believe the staff is rude and I believe particularly racist. Very argumentative and unpleasant.... Be cautious of this place

I've been ordering from here for years, but never eaten at the location. It's small with tables to wait, but I've often wondered how many actually eat here. Due to a power outage, we were starving and no one wanted to wait to get home, so 6 of us decided to eat here. The female cashier came from behind the counter and not only helped us move tables together, took our order at the table, but she was very helpful with questions and ordering. The kids received their drinks with lids, and although I was tired and not very thirsty, she made me drink some hot tea. :) So sweet. Our dinners were promptly served after our soups, which we shared, and then she gave a few drinks for the road. I don't expect that to be the case with every customer who decides to sit down and eat, but it was a lovely evening and they far-exceeded any expectations we may have had.

It's good at what it does: it serves good, fast, Chinese food. I get the same good food every time. We've never had a problem with this place.

Not great - needs higher quality beef and chicken, less oils too

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
